Motorola Moto Edge 40 series will feature top-of-the-line features found in 2023 flagships. Especially the Edge 40 Pro model will be more premium. The Pro model appears to be a rebadged version of the X40 from China. It will have a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The frame is made of aluminum, while the front and rear panels have a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus layer. The smartphone also offers an iP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It will be available in two colors – Quartz Black and Angel Waterfall. The Edge 40 Pro weighs around 199 grams and measures 161.16 x 74 x 8.59 mm.

The phone will be powered by a 4600mAh battery. The battery supports 125W wired fast charging. Apart from this, there will be support for 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging.
